This Working Group looks at payments systems, exchanges, clearing houses and depositories that are key infrastructural links in the transactional chain.
The IBFed Payments Working Group provides a forum for banks to share information and develop advocacy positions on issues relating to the common regulatory and policy environment for payments systems across IBFed member countries, more specifically to compare experiences in member countries and understand how authorities are implementing new measures and developing compliance in the fields of payment systems and clearing systems both nationally and internationally.
Recently the Working group collaborated on a paper on Central Bank Digital Currencies and Global Stable Coins.
